I have lots to talk about and make posts, but I am still re-entering the world since vacation. Here is a picture to let you see that I still care.

Carrie and I laugh because Nate is clammy like his mom and dad.  However he gets most of it from his river-flowing mother.  Then we read Jon’s post about laying hands on people when praying (hilarious I might add.)  But it nailed Carrie’s “condition”.

4. Sir Sweaty McSweaterton
Did you run here? Did you carry your car on your back like some sort of world’s strongest man competition? Are you wearing wool underwear in Georgia in July? These are honestly the only reasons I can think for how sweaty you are. I’m sweaty too, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like the ocean itself has its hand on my back right now. You are salty and wet and this prayer feels really long right now.

I will be blogging sporadically over vacation time and hopefully keep you informed of the funness of our trip.  Nate’s first beach experience is going to be awesome.  Nate sleeping in the same room as mommy and daddy could be a different story

I do have a couple of prayer requests that have just come up in the past two days.  I will be praying over our break, but would love some prayer for these things.

1.  Mason Tanner-Mason is the son of Tom Tanner who was my campus pastor at UGA.  He hit his head last night on a curb and is in ICU with swelling and a couple fractures in his skull.  Please pray for him.  He is a junior (we think) at Auburn.  That family has meant the world to Carrie and I and so many of our friends from Wesley.

2.  Beasley-As many of you know our Boston Terrier has been the center of discussion many times on this blog.  She is an amazing dog and we love her dearly.  She has had skin allergies and demedectic mange from day one and the past three years have been great but challenging.  When Nate came around our time to focus on her has become limited and her allergies have become even more of a problem.  All that to say, we have been praying that we could find a good home for her and we think we have!  Long story that I can tell soon, but for now, please pray that this family will decide to take her.  It seems perfect because she will be with another Boston Terrier and they love Bostons!

3.  Vacation-I read this post by John Eldridge two days ago and it made so much sense about vacation.  Once you read it you will know what to pray for.

One of my good friends is the COO of BigStuf Events and Lanny Donoho and used to run the camp. Brian has worked with us at North Point and helped me a ton when I was at Athens Church. Leave for the beach a week from Saturday.

Nate started walking a couple weeks ago and has about 6 teeth coming in I think.

Only been to the pool 1 time so far.

Golf game is getting a little better each time. (saving up for new Ping i10s)

Not much photography to speak of right now.

I will post pics of the living room hopefully today.

Church is going well and starting a new series this week.

Lots of people out of town right now.

Beautiful weather week so far.

Goal of 30 miles run in 4 weeks.

What’s going on with you?

Now 48 hours, 10 foot scaffolding, 5 gallons of Barcelona Beige, a dog, lots of rollers, fumes, rented carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpet all over the house, and the project is complete. Casey wanted to see pictures. I have some before and after later but here is an after picture.
